I have known the author, Pastor Robert Holland for some time and he was my professor in our Appalachian school of ministry. His integrity and knowledge of scripture has set the standard to strive for, in my ministry. Pastor Holland uses his personal application and experiences to encourage believers to live a little closer to their God and Savior Jesus Christ! Even though The Word of God tells us we don't have to wonder if fasting and prayer benefits the believer, In this book you will see, It Works!

Today's last day Church Universal is trying to separate what one does from who we are. The New Testament reminds us that there is power in Godliness! This book reinforces this biblical and theological principle. The power of Godliness must be restored to the Body of Christ! As the scripture says, there is a form in most churches today! This book will help us find our way back to true Godliness and the life transforming power that God wants for His children! Faith in Christ without works is dead! No works in themselves can save you but if we say we are saved let the evidence be seen in our obedience! This book is about Love and Obedience!
