This series was pretty ok. The amnesia storyline was different in this book, third in the series. These stories are short, have a mystery, and some likeable characters. My favorite was the second book with Michael and Emily. One thing about this book that puzzled me was since Gavin was found unconscious, without a wallet or luggage, on a dock in India with no memory whatsoever, how did he and the doctor who rescued him, know his name? Made no sense!

If you have read A Brilliant Deception and A Clever Disguise, you will want to read this book too. It continues on with the story of the Collin, Lily, Emily, Michael, Diana, Gavin, Elizabeth and a new love, Seamus! I loved all 3 books and I think you should read them all.
I really liked how the booked finished up the Regency collection. I didn't care for Dinah in the first one but love her humility and openness in this one. A must read
i mark this book a little lower because it was good but as great and wounderful as the first two was it is still good because of the people and setting of it but still not as exciting as the other two was still a good story tho i love the mother this book tho where in the other books i didnt like her as well still in all a good read thanks mrs fuller for the enjoyment of these books i most of the time go with amish fiction but took a change of pace on this set of books and it was worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

The elements of this story are current, but the story takes place long ago. This lends a unique twist to an otherwise predictable story.

The story was well-written, it a few typos but that didn't take away from the story. The story line was easy to follow. The author drew us in and allowed us to feel the emotions of the characters. The story had intrigue, suspense, and romance as well as the struggles of the main characters with their feelings. Loved it.
